Ibette is a Christian counselor with experience working with women, young adults, individuals and families. She has been married for twenty three years to her husband German and has a son David. Ibette is currently a student at Dallas Theological Seminary working toward her Masters in Biblical Counseling degree and pursuing her LPC license .  In addition to counseling, Ibette has volunteered in women’s prison ministry for many years in Harris County and the Immigration Detention Center in Houston, TX sharing the healing power of God’s grace and love.  With the same passion as in prison ministry, she cares for her clients, pursuing wholeness and healing alongside those who feel trapped and those who feel as though they lack purpose. She wants to be a facilitator of restoration.  She will help you overcome the painful challenges of life as you embrace your unique purpose and identity.  Ibette believes that with her faith as her foundation, empathy and the therapeutic relationship, she is able to create an environment of both love and safety where a variety of clients are able to grow, heal and reach everlasting joy, hope, and peace.

She has experience working with adolescents and the specific challenges they struggle with, including: identity, self-image, relationships, self-harm, parental divorce, and abuse.  She also has a heart for girls and women who have been sexually abused or assaulted.
